Off road Adventure Safaris is a small four wheel drive touring company based in Hervey Bay Queensland and operates small group charter trips throughout the northern reaches of Australia.
From Cairns to Cape York, across the gulf to Kakadu and Darwin as well as Katherine the Kimberly and Broome.
We specialise in private charter/ soft adventure touring with customised itineraries designed to suit the needs of individual travellers. Our tours are tailored to meet any and all specific needs or special interests you may have.
With an Off road Adventure safaris charter you will have sole use of the vehicle and a client/guide ratio of 1:6 so this means that unlike most of the other larger tour groups operating in the north we are able to offer you a real hands on experience. For naturalists, bird enthusiasts or photographers we are also able take you into a range of special out of the way places.
For example if Aboriginal rock art is your passion we can take you to remote, occupation sites and shelters as well rock art galleries rarely seen by non aboriginal people.
Or if photography is your passion we will get you into the right place at the right time to take advantage of the magnificent sunsets and strangely beautiful stone formations that northern Australia is famous for.
We will also get you up close to the wild life, weather it be fresh water crocodiles which live in spectacular Katherine Gorge or the huge salt water crocodiles and spectacular bird life that lives in and around Kakadu National Parks world heritage listed flood plains. Being a specialist tour company we are able to show you some of Australias hidden secrets which are well off the usual tourist maps and away from the crowds.
