Tours are carried out in modern, air-conditioned, 4WD vehicles with a maximum number of 6 passengers. Personal luggage is carried in our safari trailer along with other necessary equipment for the tour.


On our tours we provide you with all meals as coded in the itinerary.
Continental breakfasts daily, consisting of fruit juice, cereals, tea & coffee, toast and jams - we even have several hot breakfasts included. Lunch and dinner will also be provided as indicated and these will consist of fresh salads and cold meats, sandwiches, pasta dishes, barbeques and cooked meals. We also provide storage for cold drinks and foods as we are travelling.
Our tours travel through various climate zones. In the south, July & August are winter months and the weather can be cold and wet. In the Outback the weather may be hot & dry during the day and very cold at night. In the tropical north it is the dry season and the temperatures will be mild with low humidity. Through the months of September & October, the temperatures will become increasingly warmer.
Each passenger is entitled to take one bag (preferably soft sided) - 80cm x 30cm x 30cm. You may also have a small day bag or pack however most guests tend to carry a bottle of water and their cameras only. Baggage over the prescribed limit cannot be carried without prior arrangement.

Shorts, trousers and shirts for the tropics (clothing should be casual and footwear comfortable). Swimwear, a hat, sunglasses, and sun protection (insect repellant may be required) - some form of fast-drying wet-shoe would provd useful on these tours. Personal toiletries (if you are from overseas and want to use an electrical appliance you will need to bring an adapter). Don't forget to bring your video or camera along with plenty of film/memory & spare batteries (recharge facilities are available). Money and/or credit card for personal expenses such as drinks, souvenirs and optional day tours. You may wish to bring some alcohol (please bear in mind alcohol restrictions apply in some areas visited) - no glass bottles please.

Travel Insurance is not included with this trip. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances which may arise (including, but not limited to, health,baggage, loss of monies through cancellation, additional expenses incurred through illness or personal liability prior to travel and early return, for example following a family emergency).

Our tours have been designed to suit a reasonable level of fitness. Being able to do some walking along nature trails and cope with remoteness in is essential. People suffering from lack of tolerance, or are not of general good health should not consider these tours. Note: Clients over 70 years of age are required to have a clearance certificate from a General Practitioner. If you need special medication, it is advisable to bring your own adequate supply for the duration of the tour.
